Disperindag Tangsel Fasilitasi SNI Pada Pelaku Usaha
Aboutbanten.com, CIPUTAT – Dinas Perindustrian dan Perdagangan (Disperindag) Kota Tangerang Selatan (Tangsel) menggelar Sosialisasi Standar Nasional Indonesia (SNI) pada kegiatan pelatihan industri kecil dan menengah angkatan 1.
Kegiatan yang dilaksanakan di Aula Gedung 3 Balai Kota Tangsel, Ciputat pada Senin, 24 September 2018 ini dihadiri oleh Wakil Walikota Tangsel Benyamin Davnie.
Dalam sambutannya Kepala Disperindag Tangsel Maya Mardiana mengatakan, pelaksanaan Kegiatan Sosialisasi SNI ini merupakan salah satu wujud dari peran pemerintah hadir ditengah para pelaku usaha dan masyarakat sebagai konsumen.
“Terdapat kebutuhan akan pemahaman SNI yang merupakan standar yang ditetapkan oleh Badan Standarisasi Nasional (BSN) dan berlaku secara nasional sesuai Peraturan pemerintah No.102 tahun 2000 tentang standarisasi nasional pada sektor industri dan perdagangan,” katanya.
Dengan jumlah IKM di Kota Tangerang Selatan sekitar 1200 IKM, menjadi sangat penting bagi pemerintah daerah mendorong penerapan standar bagi produk-produk yang beredar.
“Tujuan penerapan SNI ini adalah untuk meningkatkan jaminan mutu, efisiensi produksi, daya saing nasional, persaingan usaha yang sehat dan transparan dalam perdagangan, kepastian usaha, dan kemampuan pelaku usaha, serta kemampuan inovasi teknologi,” bebernya.
Lanjutnya, juga untuk meningkatkan perlindungan kepada konsumen, pelaku usaha, tenaga kerja dan masyarakat lainnya baik untuk keselamatan, keamanan, kesehatan maupun kelestarian fungsi lingkungan hidup.
Sementara, Wakil Walikota Benyamin Davnie menyampaikan pesan dihadapan peserta sosialisasi yang diikuti sebanyak 45 peserta dan terdiri dari dua angkatan, untuk terus menerus meningkatkan kelengkapan standar berniaga dan berusaha sehingga mampu menciptakan iklim berusaha.
“Dengan meningkatkan kepastian, kelancaran, dan efisiensi transaksi perdagangan barang dan atau jasa di dalam negeri dan luar negeri,” jelasnya.
Lanjutnya, kepada Disperidag, kegiatan sosialisasi ini tentunya harus ditindaklanjuti dengan pembinaan lanjutan secara berkesinambungan dan terus dilakukan monitoring dan evaluasi dengan melakukan sinergi dengan pusat , provinsi, maupun sektor swasta. (Humas-Kominfo)
